Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
DevScale.cloud (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We are based in Canada and comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Information we collect
We only collect information you provide or that is needed to run the site:
- Enrollment form: your name, email, phone number, city/country, chosen pathway, and payment plan.
- Contact form: your name, email, topic, and message.
- Account & learning data: if you become a student, your login email, profile, cohort, assignments, progress, and payment records.
- Usage analytics: basic, first-party page-view counts (which pages are visited) to understand site traffic. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
2. How we use your information
- To process your enrollment and send payment instructions.
- To respond to your contact-form messages.
- To deliver the bootcamp, manage your account, and track progress.
- To improve our website and understand which content is useful.
- To meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
3. Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to host our website, store data, and send transactional emails (such as payment instructions and contact notifications). These providers process information only on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
4. How we protect your data
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls so records are only available to authorised parties, restricted administrative access, and anti-spam protections on our forms. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
5. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your data at any time (see “Your rights” below), subject to records we are required to retain.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@devscale.cloud.
7. International transfers
Because our service providers may store data outside your country, your information may be processed in other jurisdictions. We take steps to ensure it remains protected wherever it is handled.
8. Children
DevScale.cloud is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we learn we have collected data from a child without proper consent, we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
